Recording the Past for the Future’

As professional archaeologists we are committed to making the results of our work available to the public, wherever possible, and to broadening public awareness and involvement in their rich and varied heritage.  This may be achieved in a variety of ways: talks to local societies, school visits, displays and exhibitions, guided walks, site tours, publications, and support for community archaeology projects.  We will be pleased to advise on any of the above, and to provide input into any outreach projects.

A range of 'off-the-peg' lectures can be provided to local societies and other groups at relatively short notice.  Current titles include:

  • Bancroft Roman Villa
  • Roman Milton Keynes
  • Roman Buckinghamshire
  • Wulfhere's People (excavation of Anglo-Saxon Cemetery in Milton Keynes)
  • The Archaeology of Milton Keynes
  • The Endless Web (Nash Mills paper mill, Herts)
  • Boston Lodge, a 19th-century railway works
  • Lectures on archaeological techniques
